"Nanos: Can the invisible reshape our future?" – International Nanoscience Conference at Sapienza

On 17–18 September 2026, Sapienza Università di Roma will host the international conference "Nanos: Can the invisible reshape our future?" at Aula Amaldi, Department of Physics (CU013). The conference will address the frontiers of nanoscience, advanced materials and engineering.

The event is organized by the Sapienza School of Advanced Studies (SSAS) and will bring together leading international speakers.

The programme includes two days of scientific seminars, an interactive poster session, and hands-on laboratory workshops on atomic force microscopy, nanomedicine, IR/THz spectroscopy, semiconductor nanowires, nanorestoration of cultural heritage, photonics and computational plasmonics.

Participation is free of charge upon registration. PhD students and young researchers wishing to present a poster must submit their abstract by 5 September 2026.
