Organizzazione

The Laboratory is regulated by a collaboration agreement joined by six Departments (Environmental Biology; Biology and Biotechnology "Charles Darwin"; Chemistry; Chemistry and Drug Technology; and Experimental Medicine). The agreement establishes an annual membership fee for each Department, to cover the Laboratory's ordinary annual expenses, and defines the available instrument time (60% reserved for research and collaborations of the participating Departments, and the remaining 40% for research requested by other Sapienza Departments or external public/private institutions). It also regulates possible updates to the price list and access rules for authorised personnel.

Technical and administrative management is defined by the Regulation of the NMLab Sapienza Laboratory.

The instrumental platform is managed by a Management Committee, coordinated by prof. Federico Marini, while its utilization is managed by the technical manager, dr. Giorgio Capuani, and the administrative management of the project is assigned to the Department of Chemistry.
